THE CRISIS OF THE FINANCIAL MARKETS IN THE WORLD

The New Moon of October 2008 (29/September : GMT 8:13:20) like “an announced death” (Gabriel Garcia Marquez), announced the crisis of the financial markets in the USA, and its break-down (collapse, fall down) both in the USA and all over the world.

To analyse the situation I looked for the following three Axes :

• New Moon (Sun=Moon) October

• Aries point

• Pluto = Hadés

Looking at the Dial 90°, starting from the New Moon Axis (graphic n.0):
1. New Moon = Sun USA* / Aries point : in October 2008 the USA are on the world scenery.
(* Sun USA in Cancer :13°19’). Seeing all the planetary pictures around this axis we’ll have some explanation and perhaps the demonstration that the crisis originated in the USA :
New Moon = Neptun = Cupido = AS t. NewYork / Poseidon = MC t. New York / Pluto and Hadés = Moon Node / Admetos = *Apollon+Vulcanus-Aries : chaos in the society or in the societies. The town of New York reflects the clear (PO) imagine of the collapse. Period of depression and recession (NO/AD) instead of the growth of the economy (AP+VU-AR), in general (the Aries point is involved in the last constellation*).

Let’s go to the Aries Axis (= the world, the external, ) to see what happens in the world:

2. Aries Axis = Uranus / Admetos = Neptun/Poseidon = NewMoon / Poseidon = Mercury+Mars-Apollon and Vulcanus (business market): The New Moon reveals (PO) a sudden break-down (disruptive shake) which hits the external world (public life = AR), in the field of the business financial markets. Something in this crisis is not totally clear, perhaps hidden. (See in the graphic the following planetary pictures : Ascendent t. NewYork =Jupiter/Apollon : the banks in NewYork) . Graphic n.1

Looking at the New Moon constellations in New York City, we find the Ascendent at Virgo 4°31’ and the MC at Taurus 29°58’. Let’s add and see the following p.pictures on the Aries Axis:

= Saturn / MC : problematic imagine of the town ...
= AS / Apollon and Vulcanus :.. in the place of the great, powerful business.
= AS / Mars : the place works as above

Please note : According to the financial astrologer Bill Meridian, the constellations for Economy and Exchange emphasize the planets (their signs and their cycles) from Jupiter to Pluto, and also the Moon Node is involved. In Uranian astrology we add all the 8 transneptunian planets. Especially the TNp Apollon (business) and Vulcanus (the power), at present (October 2008) on the same degree on the Dial 90° (in square, as traditional aspect).

What in the chart of the New Moon of October 2008 is impressive is the following hard constellation:

Pluto = Hadés

Traditionally Pluto is the planet of great, strong and unstoppable changes. In Uranian astrology we say : it is the beginning of the change.

Traditionally Pluto is connected with the economic, politic and financial issues.

The TNp Hadés is more powerful than Pluto. But usually its power is evil or diabolic and acts in a disruptive and breaking-up way. Therefore the rare constellation Pluto = Hadés is disquieting. Let’s look at the whole axis :

3. Pluto = Hadés = Mercury = Uranus / Neptun = Cupido+Kronos-Jupiter (banks) : the disruption and the breaking-up hit the American banks**, it is panic (Uranus) together with irrational behaviours (Neptun).

** question : why the American banks? The answer comes from Jupiter (Capricorn 13°15’) exactly opposite Sun USA (Cancer 13°19’). In the Dial 90 °they are together ( graphic n.2).

Adding the constellations of the transit AS and MC of NEW YORK City, we have :

= (AS t.) / Mercury+Mars-Apollon and Vulcanus : trading of the business market in NewYork...
= (AS t)/ (Urano/Admetos) : ... falls down.

We may ask a question : why are the American banks the first responsible for this break-down ?

The answer has been written in all the newspapers and its name is : SUB-PRIME CREDIT*. It is an unclear financial product which entered in crisis already in 2007 during the transiting of the planets below :

• * Some merchant banks ( especially Lehman Brothers : the biggest crack of the history) transformed into bonds the high risk loans –growing rates- that they gave to their low income clients . In this way the banks transferred their own risk onto the investors who bought the bonds on the financial market. When the low income clients were no more able to pay the rate of the loans, the bonds (bought from the investors) introduced before as totally safe became trash. Crack people were born.

• Something like that happened also in Italy with the financial “derivati”

Let us look back ( from : Bill Meridian – Planetary Economic Forecasting, 2nd. Edition – Cycles Research Publications- New York):

From 1992 to 2000, was the age of the technological boom. But as time went on there some disquieting signals. For example:

• in 2000 : NASDAQ Panic : Jupiter joins the Moon Node in Cancer. Usually Cancer is favourable to the USA ( the same solar sign).

• in 2001 : Economic slowdown : Pluto in Sagittarius, Uranus and Neptun in Aquarius. Uranus enters in Pisces March 2003. Usually when in Aquarius, the production in the USA falls.

• 2007 is the fatal year due to the beginning of the crisis of the Sub-Prime Credit. At the end of June 2007, we find Saturn (21°50’Leo) opposite to Neptun (21°50’Aquarius) : traditionally it underlines a cycle of crisis. Jupiter in Sagittarius (prominent position), joins Pluto in December 2007. This constellation is considered to bring a “falling” of the economy. Just at the end of the same December 2007, Jupiter moved into Capricorn and in February 2008 became opposite to the Sun of the USA.

• Note: Astrologer Penny Bertucelli from Florida (USA), a prominent interpreter of the Hamburg School Astrology, says that the cycle Jupiter-Saturn is usually connected with a fall-down of the markets, particularly when Jupiter is in retrograde transiting. Looking back at Jupiter joining Pluto, at the end of December 2007, we can see that the TNp Hadès was involved in this constellation through the Aries point as follows : JU = PL = AR/HA “dramatic factor for the fall-down of the markets and losing of the cash flow”. In the New Moon chart of October (see the graphic), Penny shows the following constellation: NEW MOON = JU/HA and PL = NE accentuating the fraud (Neptun) also connected with this dramatic situation.

• Italy in the sign of Gemini has Meridian, Pluto and Mars (24°35’) in Leo. In June 2007 its Sun directed was in Leo together with Uranus, Mercury and the TNp Vulcanus: so also Italy has been involved in the opposition Saturn-Neptun. Only at the end of the year 2007 the TV journalist Milena Gabanelli through the broadcasted Report program informed the Italian people about the existence of the financial products called “derivati”.

During the year 2008, already in recession, the constellation : Pluto = Hadés took shape on the 9th of September . The Lehman Brothers’ crack happened on the 15th of September. It was the New Moon of October that showed the crack of the American capital market, spreading out the crisis in all the western Stock Exchanges in the world.

Let’s look at the future :

The most important thing to consider is that Pluto will separate from Hadés at the end of November 2008. The separation of this disquieting constellation will give Pluto the opportunity to express itself in freedom, perhaps starting an evolutionary way of change. But the tie with Hadés was not incidental and will leave a difficult imprint, I think.

Important transits during the year 2009 on the Dial 90° will be Uranus at 20°40’ Pisces on the USA Sun, as follows:

Uranus* = Sun USA in February 2009. Question : will there be some new impulses? Of what kind ?

In that period a possible answer will come from Pluto’s transit at 2°26’ Capricorn. The following planetary picture will take shape :

*Uranus (=SU USA) / Pluto = Hadés : the American system is still in crisis.

According to Bill Meridian, Uranus-Pluto is connected with the crisis of the banks. The “square” between Uranus-Pluto (drastic changes in the financial positions) was connected with the crisis of the USA banks in 1930 .

During the year 2009, there will be the following constellations :

• The cycle of Jupiter Moon Node in Aquarius ( 14/2/2009, at 9°11’) : production should trend to grow but the cycle Jupiter - Neptun in Aquarius (June 2009th) may trend towards inflation or fall of the production.

• We have to wait for the cycle Saturn-Pluto. Its symbology is : stop and rebuilding. At the end of October 2009, Saturn will enter in Libra while Pluto will square Saturn in November.

The annual horoscope 2008 (calculated for the Sun ingress 0° Capricorn) showed the disquieting constellation : Aries point = Hadés/Kronos: in general the bad rulers are responsible for the destiny of the Earth. This meaning, unfortunately, is the right one during the year 2008, not only in the financial field. In this respect the planet Earth cannot hope to find the long promised balance this year. Things would become worse. And it is just that way now.

Getting out of the crisis of the banks and the financial markets is not a short time matter.

It is no coincidence that actually the media talk of the greatest collapse since the Wall Street crack in 1929 in the USA.

The problem is the real estate of the economy (recession), not only the “paper-economy”.
